The therapist will examine, evaluate, and diagnose patients to provide personalized rehabilitation interventions in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include developing exercise programs, managing documentation and billing, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree (if graduated prior to 2002) or a Master's degree (if graduated in 2002 or later). Required credentials include a PT license with New Hampshire eligibility and BLS certification.
Examines, evaluates, diagnoses, determines prognosis and provides intervention. Reports findings to other health care team members. Provides discharge recommendations, exercise programs, and family teaching. Plans therapy involving physical exercise, massage, heat, water, etc. Participates in and supports in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, Professional Practice Committee, committees, etc. Provides documentation, billing, and record keeping. Participates in compliance audits. Coordinates the scheduling of patients and meetings. Determines and implements annual plan for professional development. Delegates tasks to support personnel. Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Bachelor's degree if graduate prior to 2002; minimum of Master's degree if graduating in 2002 or later. Required Licensure/Certifications Licensed PT with NH eligibility BLS
