Provide comprehensive mental health services, including screening, assessment, and psychotherapy, to adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders. Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary ACT team across office, residential, and community settings.
Requires a master's degree in a mental health field and a valid LSW or LPC license, with LISW or LPCC preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and strong clinical skills in behavioral health and chemical abuse.

POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) is an evidence-based, multidisciplinary treatment approach that provides comprehensive, coordinated, mental health services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders. This position provides face-to-face screening, assessment, crisis intervention, and individual/group counseling including addressing co-occurring substance use for individuals on the ACT Team. The purpose of this position is to provide behavioral health care counseling services in a culturally diverse community.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED In order to perform the essential functions of this job, after an orientation period, the employee must possess the following: a working knowledge of Riveon Mental Health and Recovery Policy and Procedures, including sensitivity and adherence to clients’ rights, confidentiality, and health and safety issues. Must exhibit sensitivity to different cultures.
