Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with various diagnoses while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to help patients reach their goals. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment programs and adhering to state practice acts and federal regulations.
Requires a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school and a current state license or eligibility for licensure. CPR certification is also required.
High Standard of Care: Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how PTs may practice and whom they may supervise. Collaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.
