The Certified Surgical Tech is responsible for assisting physicians during clinic appointments and preparing for surgical procedures. Key duties include managing the sterilization of equipment, operating room turnover, and stocking supplies.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Surgical Tech program with current CST and BLS certifications. One year of experience is preferred, along with the ability to multi-task in a team environment.
Description Athens Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a Certified Scrub Tech (CST) providing professional and quality patient care in a cohesive team environment.
The Certified Surgical Tech (CST) assigned to Nursing will be responsible for successful completion of the following job duties: 1. Assisting physician during clinic appointments. 2. Preparation of surgical procedures. 3. Completion of the sterilization process of equipment 4. Turnover of operating rooms 5. Stocking of supplies.
The successful candidate will possess the following education and experience: 1. Graduate of accredited Surgical Tech program. 2. Current certification as Surgical Tech. 3. Current BLS certification required. 4. One (1) year experience preferred. 5. Must be an energetic, flexible, multi-tasking team member.
