Duties and Responsibilities
The Placement Specialist: Manages referral and placement activities Arranges admissions and meets parents/guardians as needed Performs clerical, typing, and administrative duties required in support of placing the child in the appropriate program Serves as primary liaison to assigned funding source/referral agent Works with Placement Manager on special studies or projects Completes daily/monthly reports as requested Assists with on-call intake responsibilities Processes referral calls and compiles packets in a specified time frame Assesses referrals for appropriateness Maintains an active referral list and a waiting list Performs other duties as assigned
Additional Information
Schedule is flexible and non-traditional as it is based around the availability of youth and families served. Applicants must possess a current, valid driver’s license, an automobile for work purposes, and proof of auto insurance. Community-based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage.
Salary
$56,000 - $61,000 based on education and license
