The Occupational Therapist provides outpatient rehabilitation services to older adults within their homes or independent living facilities. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, designing personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic techniques to restore functional performance.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy curriculum and a valid state license. A valid driver's license and registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy are also required.
