Provide administrative, technical, and quality patient care support to ophthalmologists and optometrists in a clinical setting. Support operations within a state-of-the-art facility including diagnostic and research centers.
Requires a high school diploma and either an accredited Ophthalmic Assistant course, one year of allied health post-secondary education, or one year of healthcare experience. BLS certification is required within six months of hire.

Prior experience in ophthalmic or optometric office preferred. Completion of an accredited ophthalmic assistant course preferred. Certification as an ophthalmic assistant, technician or technologist preferred. Once certification is achieved, it is required to be maintained. Nebraska Medicine is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
