In your day-To-Day, you will
Assist with surgical admissions, patient assessments, and client communication to ensure a seamless surgical experience.
Support surgical consultations and recheck appointments by preparing patients, obtaining radiographs, and assisting with procedures.
Monitor anesthesia, patient vitals, and recovery to ensure the safety and comfort of every patient.
Perform technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and advanced nursing care.
Serve as a sterile assistant and scrub technician while maintaining strict aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records, treatment charges, and discharge documentation.
Educate clients on post-operative care and discharge instructions to support successful recoveries at home.
Provide compassionate nursing care and advocate for patients throughout their surgical journey.
Assist with the care of hospitalized and emergency transfer patients as needed.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, veterinarians, and fellow technicians to deliver exceptional specialty patient care.
What You Bring
Veterinary Technician License (LVT, CVT, or RVT) preferred, but not required
Foundational veterinary knowledge, including patient restraint, triage, imaging, laboratory skills, and venipuncture.
Previous experience in anesthesia or surgical support is a plus—but not essential.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.
Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
