RN - ECCC Adult Infusion

• Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our ECCC
• Adult Infusion. We are looking for dynamic professional applicants who value customer service and a team mentality.

The Adult Infusion Oncology Nurse is a licensed registered nurse who demonstrates clinical knowledge and skill in the subspecialty of oncology nursing, and is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervision of other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients, and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated. Administers chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy IV, excellent IV skills needed, ability to draw labs from Mediport, able to use computer programs, change PIC line dressings, give injections (IM, SQ), maintain excellent communication skills, able to educate patients’ on chemo on all levels of patient need and have flexible hours.

The shift will be determined by each hiring manager. The pay rate will be determined in accordance with the labor agreement.

Qualifications

• AS/Diploma/Regency Degree required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN license in WV required.
• Maintains CEUs for licensure.
• Must maintain CPR.
• OCN Specialty certification preferred.
• Two years of position-related experience required. 5+ years preferred.
• Experience in either an IP Oncology or OP Oncology Department
• Experience in Chemotherapy administration preferred.
