Duties & Responsibilities

Assist Physical Therapists in carrying out the selected program and procedures. Perform routine treatment procedures in accordance with the planned program. Responsible for record keeping procedures and charting, ensuring confidentiality of all records. Communicate with patient’s physician and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Currently licensed in the State of Florida with at least one year of experience under the supervision of licensed physical therapist. One year of clinical experience preferred. Must have an Associate degree in Physical Therapy or graduated from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written in English. Spanish preferred. Able to operate the necessary equipment. Have supervision and management skills. Must possess adequate ability to calculate necessary percentages for required documentation.
