Assist in the development, optimization, and validation of diagnostic assays such as ELISA and Immunochromatography. Perform laboratory activities including sample preparation, data analysis, and the creation of SOPs under CLIA/CAP guidelines.
Requires a B.S. degree in immunology, biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Experience with ELISAs and undergraduate laboratory research is preferred.
Assist with the development, optimization and validation of new assays (ELISA, Immunochromatography). Perform all aspects of laboratory activities, such as sample preparation, assay run, and data analysis. Prepare reagent stock and working solutions. Maintain accurate and complete records. Help perform data analysis and troubleshoot technical issues relating to assay development and quality. Write standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other documents including validation reports under CLIA/CAP guidelines. Comply with all company SOPs and safety standards. Collaborate with other members of the scientific staff within and outside the R&D group, including academic collaborators, external consultants, and scientists. Perform other related duties as needed and required by supervisors. Maintain confidentiality of customer and patient information.
