The Nurse Practitioner manages all aspects of oncology patient care, including comprehensive assessments and the oversight of conventional chemotherapy. They are responsible for developing treatment plans, ordering diagnostic tests, and coordinating care with physicians and clinical staff.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program with a valid NP certification and at least 2 years of oncology experience. Required certifications include BLS, an Advanced Practice Certificate, and a Prescribing and Dispensing Certificate in Arizona.
