The Detox Clinician provides individual and group counseling and conducts biopsychosocial assessments for clients in early recovery. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate aftercare transitions.
A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree and 2 years of counseling experience preferred. Candidates must hold a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) credential in the State of Connecticut.

Mountainside is looking for a committed and highly motivated Detox Clinician to join our clinical treatment team. This position plays a pivotal role in fostering safe and effective early treatment interventions. Success in this role comes from working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary treatment team in a fast-paced environment to ensure Best-In-Class detoxification treatment is provided to our clients.

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum credential of a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) in the State of Connecticut is required. Fully licensed as LCSW, LPC, LADC, or LMFT or actively working towards licensure is preferred. Knowledge or experience with substance use disorder treatment preferred Minimum 2 years of experience working in the field of counseling preferred Must have basic computer skills including competence in software applications such as Microsoft Office suite, Adobe and use of internet applications and in using and/or connecting wireless computer hardware, the ability to project to remote devices, etc.
The base rate of pay for this position is $50,000 - 75,000 per year. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
