Provide expert clinical nursing care within the Cardiovascular Intervention Center for a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures. Serve a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics in a high-volume laboratory setting.
Requires a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program, a valid California RN license, and ACLS certification. Candidates must have 3 years of acute care nursing experience, with specific certifications like CCRN, CVRN, or RCIS required or obtainable within one year.

The Cardiovascular Intervention Center is a core element of the Smidt Heart Institute, performing more than 8,000 procedures a year. The department serves the populations of neonates to and including geriatrics. In this twelve-laboratory facility, we perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for coronary artery disease, heart muscle function and heart valve dysfunction.
