Responsibilities

• The Cardiac Specialty Unit (CSU) is an intermediate cardiac unit specializing in pre- and post-procedural care.
• This includes patients with NSTEMI or active chest pain requiring cardiac interventions, electrophysiology abnormalities treated with ICD's or radiofrequency ablations.
• We manage dysrhythmias through administration and titration of cardiac drips.
• Nurses actively participate in bedside procedures and manage arterial access devices.
• CSU is a busy, fast paced unit seeking highly motivated team players looking to expand their cardiac skill set and provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Nurses are expected to obtain and maintain ACLS certification.

Qualifications

Requirements: Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License BCLS required Experience preferred
