RN - Maternal Child Health - Float Pool - La Jolla/Encinitas - Nights

• This is a Full-Time (72 hours per pay period, every 2 weeks) position on a 12-hour NIGHT shift schedule working variable days of the week including weekends and holidays.
• Position floats between Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.
• This position covers both Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum.

• As a Registered Nurse for the Maternal Child Health Float Pool team, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.
• In addition… · Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. · The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. · Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Preferred Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification/Education

• · Bachelor’s degree in nursing. · EPIC experience. · RNC-OB.

• Skills: · 1 year experience in Labor & Delivery AND Post-Partum · Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English. · Excellent interpersonal skills. · Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

• Certification/Registration: · Current CA RN License · Current BLS-C provider from American Heart Association · Current Advanced NRP (AAP-Issued 7th or 8th edition) · Current Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart

• Education/Course(s)/Training: · Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing. Position is incentive eligible based off eligibility.
