Must be a Registered Nurse capable of performing specialized OASIS reviews and interpretations. Ability to ensure optimal coding and accurate baseline information for patients is required.
The RN OASIS specialists conducts a comprehensive assessment at required time points according to CMS guidelines. The Registered Nurse OASIS Specialists implements a comprehensive review and interpretation of Outcome Assessment Information Sets, ensures optimal coding and accurate baseline and subsequent information about patient functional and clinical status. The OASIS specialist effectively uses assessment information to improve patient care and outcome improvement.
