Provide continuous quality patient care across various clinical settings as part of a resource float pool. Responsibilities include implementing interdisciplinary care plans, managing medical equipment, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure patient needs are met.
Requires a nursing degree and current compact RN licensure, with specific experience requirements ranging from 1 to 2 years depending on the assigned team. Mandatory certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NVCI.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree preferred - BSN preferred.
Consistently utilizes appropriate communication tools when communicating within the interdisciplinary team and when handing off patient care. Communicates individualized plan of care to the patient and his/her chosen support system. Uses communication tools such as Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation, and Question (SBARQ) to communicate more effectively. Documents appropriate information in a timely manner.
