Primary Care Nurse Practitioner – Nursing Home The MedServ Group Part Time Compensation: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour.

The MedServ Group is a rapidly growing medical practice that provides top-of-the-line care to residents in a nursing home setting. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide in-person primary care services within a nursing home and long-term care setting. This role focuses heavily on patient interaction, counseling, education, chronic disease management, and building meaningful relationships with residents and families.

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities Spending significant time communicating with patients, families, and caregivers regarding health concerns, goals of care, medications, and treatment options. Providing comprehensive primary care to residents in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility. Educating residents and families on disease prevention, medication adherence, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications. Document encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Requirements Current Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state.
• Board certification as Family NP (FNP), Adult-Gerontology NP (AGNP), or related specialty preferred.
• DEA license preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics, long-term care, hospice, primary care, or nursing home settings preferred.
• Strong communication and counseling skills.
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient-centered approach.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

General Information Part Time Compensation

$65.00 - $75.00 per hour. 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.

Schedule

typically, 9AM – 5PM. 15-20 patients per visit. The MedServ Group covers your medical malpractice insurance.
