As an Occupational Therapist (OTR), you will evaluate and treat residents to improve their ability to perform daily activities, restore function, and promote independence. You will collaborate closely with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver personalized, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide therapy to improve ADLs, mobility, strength, and coordination Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and goals Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes Support and mentor therapy staff as needed Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred) Active, unencumbered OT license in South Carolina (required) Must maintain all continuing education requirements and good standing with the State Board Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred Proficiency with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Why Join Cherrydale Post Acute?
