The LPN provides direct, safe, and effective nursing care to designated patients under the supervision of an RN or Physician. Responsibilities include performing general nursing tasks and adhering to organizational policies and safety regulations.
Candidates must be a graduate of a practical nursing program with a valid NM or multi-state compact license. BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire, and one year of experience is preferred.
The LPN under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and hospital policy. Performs general nursing tasks. Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
