Conduct virtual biopsychosocial assessments and establish treatment needs for clients across various age groups. Coordinate with admissions and clinical teams to determine appropriateness for the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and assign treatment teams.
Requires a license such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, RPCA, or LMFTA, with independent licensure preferred. Candidates must have experience in behavioral health assessments and be authorized to work in the United States.
Charlie Health is looking for a dynamic individual to serve as Clinical Intake Therapist. The Clinical Intake Therapist will be responsible for meeting with clients upon admission, building rapport, completing biopsychosocial assessments, and establishing treatment needs. Looking to cover the following shifts to meet the schedules and needs of our clients: Mornings and Afternoons - Must be available 7:30am - 3:30pm PT or 9:30am - 5:50pm PT Afternoons and Evenings - Must be available 10am - 6pm PT or 12pm - 8pm PT Weekends encouraged Will consider alternative availability on individual basis Demonstrate personable and competent communication skills to develop rapport with clients and referral sources Present programming information in a thorough and supportive manner to help clients gain access to care Complete virtual biopsychosocial assessments for a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults with various mental health concerns Determine appropriateness and fit for virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) level of care Construct provisional mental health diagnoses utilizing DSM-V criteria Document client information in accordance with regulatory standards using electronic medical record Assign treatment team members and group schedules while informing staff of new admissions Interface with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams in facilitating intake Collaborate with referral sources: hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other behavioral health providers upon admission Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail and quality of care
An independent license is preferred, but we’re happy to work with associate-level clinicians who are eager to grow and work toward full licensure. Licenses accepted: LCSW, LPC, LMFT or LMSW, RPCA, LMFTA Experience working with a wide range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adults preferred Experience completing behavioral health assessments and admissions preferred Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency Strong communication and interpersonal skills Access to reliable technology resources to deliver uninterrupted, confidential, and compliant telehealth services

Note to Colorado applicants: applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis The expected base pay for this role will be between $55,000 and $67,500 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits.#li-remote Based on the nature of this role, you will need to complete several state background checks for clearance to see clients. Florida requires a fingerprint based background check, with more information found here. Please note that the cost for this background check will be paid for in full by Charlie Health.
