Provides clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting, including rooming patients and documenting in electronic medical records. Manages patient flow and assists with front desk duties to ensure efficient patient-centered care.
Requires completion of a Medical Assistant program and a high school diploma or GED. Preferred qualifications include CMA certification, BLS certification, and less than one year of clinical experience.
Education Completion of a Medical Assistant Program (Required) and High School Equivalent / GED (Required) Work Experience less than 1 year clinical experience as a Medical Assistant (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Able to communicate effectively with people from varied socioeconomic backgrounds.
