The Physical Therapist assesses patients to develop and implement individualized rehabilitative programs to improve mobility and relieve pain. They are responsible for ongoing evaluation, documentation of care, and creating post-treatment discharge plans.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited therapy program and hold a current state Physical Therapist license and CPR certification. Preferred experience is 2-3 years in a related field.

The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, organizes, and administers rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
Core Purpose and Assessment: Restores patient’s function, alleviates pain, and prevents disabilities through planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy; provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations, test results, mobility, strength, and current function levels to set realistic, attainable goals scaled to patient abilities. Treatment Planning: Develops individualized Plans of Treatment based on initial and ongoing evaluations, including short- and long-term goals, collaboration with staff, and patient/caregiver involvement; determines plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
