LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in various medical settings including hospitals, doctor's offices and ambulatory surgery centers. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established medical protocols.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians. Conduct patient assessments-evaluate patient health status. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and give post-care instructions.

Qualifications

Valid LPN license in the state of practice. Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings is preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks. Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and medical terminology is advantageous. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in memory care settings is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices.
