The Student Nurse Technician works as part of a nursing team to deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include performing delegated procedures, observing patient conditions, and assisting with specific treatments in a care facility.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and have completed two clinical semesters of Nursing Fundamentals and Nursing Clinicals. Required certifications include a Maryland State CNA certification and CPR certification.
The Student Nurse Technician participates as a member of the nursing team in the delivery of quality patient care. Under the supervision of the registered nurse, performs selected delegated patient care procedures. Observes patient condition and reports and records information. Assists health care team with specific treatments and/or procedures in an acute or intermediate care facility.

USD $26.75/Hr.
