The Oncology Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the health status and needs of patients. This involves interpreting health data and implementing preventative practices in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license and ACLS certification. A high school diploma and BLS certification are also required.
The Oncology Registered Nurse is accountable for the health status and for health needs of patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
