The RN is responsible for monitoring treatment needs and delivering medical care for clients in an Opioid Treatment Program. Key duties include administering medications like Methadone and Suboxone, documenting clinical charts, and coordinating behavioral health needs.
Candidates must be a licensed Registered Nurse in New York State. Experience in Chemical Dependency or Mental Health fields is preferred, along with a commitment to a person-centered approach.
at least 8 hours in a bi-weekly pay period, hours are Monday-Friday 6am-2pm and Saturday 7am-2pm.
Must provide supervisor with availability in a minimum of a month in advance, must be available two Saturdays a month, must completely quarterly trainings, must work 2 holidays a year (one spring/summer, one fall/winter)
SUMMARY The RN is responsible for monitoring the treatment needs of the clients and making sure they are met in accordance with agency policies, procedures, state and federal guidelines and regulations. The RN will work with nursing staff to cover the needs of the Opioid Treatment Program as well as integrated, mental health and substance abuse services, within the scope of a RN licensure.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York State preferably with experience in the Chemical Dependency and/or Mental Health field; support a person-centered approach; knowledgeable of addiction and must subscribe to a Professional Canon of Ethics.
