The Veterinary Surgery Nurse supports surgeons by preparing patients, monitoring anesthesia, and providing post-operative care in a fast-paced specialty hospital. They are also responsible for managing surgical equipment and assisting with emergency surgical cases.
Candidates should ideally be a credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT, LVT, CVT) with at least 2 years of anesthesia and surgical nursing experience. Strong technical skills in patient monitoring and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations are required.
