The Medical Assistant provides high-quality patient care by conducting vitals, blood draws, and diagnostic tests while assisting providers during exams. They are also responsible for maintaining clinical hygiene, managing administrative tasks in EMR systems, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Medical Assistant program with BLS certification and at least 3 years of relevant clinical experience. Additional requirements include a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a NACI background investigation.
We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team in Olympia, WA. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting clinical operations, and maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong punctuality, takes pride in maintaining a well-organized workspace, and delivers compassionate care with professionalism and integrity.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program and/or active CMA certification (as required by state) Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Phlebotomy certification (if required by state) Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel between work locations Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience (Primary Care, Family Medicine, Occupational Health, or Urgent Care) Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation Willingness to complete CAOHC and Drug Testing Collection certifications
Experience working with Veterans, Service Members, or Federal Employees Skilled in EKG, PFTs, ABIs, venipuncture, and lab processing Current Audio and Drug Testing Collection certifications Key Responsibilities Patient Care: Conduct vital signs, blood draws, diagnostic testing, and assist providers during exams. Cleanliness & Infection Control: Maintain exam rooms, bathrooms, waiting areas, and all clinical spaces to the highest standards of hygiene. Regularly disinfect surfaces, change exam table paper, and ensure all equipment is clean and presentable. Punctuality & Reliability: Arrive on time, adhere to the work schedule, and remain on-site during assigned hours. Dependability and consistency are essential to clinic operations. Administrative Support: Schedule appointments, perform data entry, manage reports, and assist with documentation in EMR systems.
