The phlebotomist is responsible for performing venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients of all age groups. Additional duties include specimen accessioning and preparing samples for the reference laboratory.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an approved phlebotomy program with P.B.T. (ASCP) certification. Previous clinical laboratory experience is preferred.
