The SLP is responsible for evaluating residents and creating individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing functions. They must maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance resident independence.
Candidates must hold an active California Speech Language Pathologist license or be eligible to apply and be a graduate of an accredited SLP program. Experience with EHR systems like Net Health or PointClickCare is preferred, though new graduates are welcome.
