The LPN will provide patient-centered nursing care and education within an Internal Medicine team. Responsibilities include utilizing clinical documentation tools and collaborating with colleagues to improve overall quality of care.

Description

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group looking for an LPN to join our Internal Medicine Team in Waterbury.

The ideal candidate will display a drive to provide patient-centered experiences through scholarly scientific inquiry, compassion for the human spirit and mind, advocacy and education for the patient and families, and collaboration with all those who touch our patients.

What you will do

Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that positively impacts patient care

Communicates effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family members

Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.

Understanding of computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.

Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Certification: Current CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience for per diem roles

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current LPN licensure and CPR certification. One year of experience is preferred for per diem roles.
