Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy. Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine Completion of a Gastroenterology Fellowship with board certification or board eligibility. Self-motivated with a willingness to work as a team to achieve common goals.
Join a team of other esteemed Physicians and Providers in a busy practice setting. Maintains confidentiality of patient and corporate information Perform diagnostic procedures (e.g., endoscopies, colonoscopies) at a state-of-the-art endoscopy center to identify gastrointestinal conditions and diseases. Evaluate patient history and symptoms to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results to inform patient care decisions. Provide specialized treatments for conditions such as IBS, Crohn’s disease, ulcers, and liver disease. Administer preventive care and screenings, such as cancer screenings and dietary assessments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes. Educate patients and families on treatment options, lifestyle changes, and disease management. Participate in research or clinical trials to advance knowledge in gastroenterology. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records to ensure continuity of care. Stay updated on new treatments and technologies within the field of gastroenterology. Build relationships with patients, value bedside manner, and possess excellent clinical skills. Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care. Communicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information. Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate.
