Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

Job Type: Full Time

Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

• The Cardiovascular RN as part of an integrated lab (Cardiac/EP & IR) plans, delivers and evaluates nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the Director and/or designee.
• Functions as a team leader and facilitator providing communications with other health team members.
• The nurse closely monitors the patient for complications, administers medications including moderate sedation, documents the procedure, and also may circulate or scrub into procedures.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel.
• May precept student nurses and new hires.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action while working in a critical care environment.
• Will take call for emergent procedures with on-call arrival time requirement of 30min.
• Understands and follows hospital policy and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
