- Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient (Days) Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist - Outpatient for a 13-week travel assignment in Alpena, MI. Contract Details Days 730AM-6:00PM (can work 8 to 10 hour days) / 40 Hour Guarantee Start Date: 6/29/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Alpena, MI Hourly Pay: $ 39.00 Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00 Weekly Total Pay: $ 2416.00 Weekend Requirements: One Sunday Per Month Dress Code: Business Casual *
- Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction) This position delegates responsibility to the Physical Therapist Assistant and Aides. Activities of this position are patient focused and utilize assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with physical therapy standards, physician orders, and governing policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: (20%)
- Evaluates the patient’s function by performing formal/informal testing measures to determine the skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status. (20%)
- Develops a goal specific treatment regime based on assessment data and the patient’s tolerance to carry-out the treatment plan as prescribed. (20%)
- Submits a written treatment regime to be included as part of the plan of treatment authorized by and coordinated with the physician. Updates plan of care as needed to reflect changes in patient status. Co-signs verbal orders received by physical therapist assistant as necessary. (20%)
- Devises a schedule of treatment, which is frequency and duration specific to be discussed with patient/family/caregiver and coordinated with clinical support staff. (20%)
- Educates patient, family, and/or caregiver regarding pathology or condition, patient alternatives, prognosis, and rationale for treatment through forms of rest, exercise, modalities, and other indicated interventions.

- Must have PT Experience Pediatric Experience - Preferred, will not schedule with pediatric patients if not comfortable Acute Care Experience highly preferred Must have current Active American Heart Association BLS credentials Must meet Michigan State License Requirements Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
