PPEC Assistant (Part-Time)

We’re looking for an experienced PPEC Assistant to help in our Total Care room and to accompany patients on transportation to work on a part-time basis. Someone that is patient, detail-oriented, and enjoys a fast-paced environment would be well-suited for this role. If this is you, let us know!

Requirements

The PPEC Assistant engages with the children in our care by joyful stimulation throughout the day, assisting with medical treatments, activities, and play. The following functions describe the essential duties of this role. Individuals in this role may not perform all these duties or may perform additional duties not listed here. Assist the nurse in providing daily care according to each child's Plan of Care Assistance with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living), primarily with feeding, grooming, changing, transferring, and repositioning Accompanying children on transportation vans as needed Promote an engaging classroom environment where children can learn and develop Maintain a clean and safe environment Participate as a vital member of our multidisciplinary team What We’re Looking For

Must Haves

• At least 1 year of experience in a pediatric care setting Valid Certifications such as CNA, MA, HHA, EMT CPR and First Aid certifications required Ability to pass a Level II background check Ability to regularly lift and carry at least 50 pounds safely Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
