Caregiver -Center Specific

• Caregiver - $6,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment).
• Beaver, PA - Part-time, Daylight, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and every 4th weekend Caregiver Pay Rate starting at $17 per hour.

• Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.
• LIFE is a program that serves county residents living in Armstrong, Butler, Beaver and Lawrence Counties.
• It is an all-inclusive comprehensive program that helps individuals maintain their independence in their home and community through supportive services.
• The LIFE programs offer an array of person-centered services from medical care to adult day supports with the primary goal of allowing individuals to remain in their own home.
• The Caregiver is responsible for assisting participants with all aspects of personal care activities and implementing strategies for promoting increased levels of self-care when possible.
• Responsible for assisting participants with Instrumental activities of daily living and implementing strategies for promoting increased levels of independence when possible.
• Responsible to reinforce and comply with all rehab initiatives and clinical modalities.

Qualifications

Caregiver qualifications include

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have dependable transportation with a valid driver’s license in order to visit clients in their homes and other sites. At least one (1) year of experience with the frail or elderly.
