The Medical Assistant provides direct clinical support to physicians by recording patient data, assisting with exams, and administering injections. Additionally, they manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, phone calls, and maintaining treatment room supplies.
Candidates must be high school graduates with a current BCLS certification and at least three years of experience as a medical or nursing assistant. A professional certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program and phlebotomy experience are preferred.
High school graduate or equivalent. Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants preferred. Minimum three years experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required. Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
