The therapist provides traditional counseling and integrated behavioral health services to patients of all ages within a patient-centered health model. Key duties include conducting screenings, providing psychotherapy, and collaborating with medical providers to coordinate care.
Candidates must be a Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW) in Michigan, though LLMSW or LLPC candidates may be considered. Experience in community-based behavioral health settings is preferred.

For more than 50 years, NMHSI—a nonprofit community health center—has been committed to improving the health and wellness of communities across Northwest Michigan. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist to join our integrated care team. This will be a split role, working in both our Manistee and Benzonia Clinics.
As part of NMHSI’s patient-centered health model (PCMH), the Behavioral Health Therapist provides traditional counseling and integrated behavioral health services to patients of all ages. This licensed clinician works closely within a team-based model to support patients’ emotional, psychological, and physical well-being through coordinated, high-quality care.
