Provide daily living assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, for an elderly client. Offer emotional support, prepare meals, and accompany the client to medical appointments.
Candidates should have previous caregiving experience and the ability to pass a background check. A valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to assist an elderly client in their private residence. This position is in Columbus Nebraska. The hours are M-F 9:30am-4:30pm. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in elderly care, a kind demeanor, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support, prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed. Help with medication reminders and light housekeeping. Accompany client to medical appointments and errands. Monitor and report changes in health or behavior to family or care coordinator.
Previous experience in caregiving or related field. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to pass a background check. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills Compensation: $17–$19/hour depending on experience
