The specialist is responsible for locating and engaging safe kinship placements for children in out-of-home care. This includes conducting research, performing home studies, and facilitating permanency-related meetings to minimize trauma for children.
Requires a bachelor's degree and two years of experience working with high-risk children, families, or caregivers. Candidates must pass multiple background screenings and possess a valid driver's license with appropriate auto insurance.
