About the role

The technologist will be responsible for interpreting physician orders, operating and maintaining CT equipment for optimal performance, and correctly preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures. Key duties also include ensuring patient safety, administering contrast dyes via IVs, and maintaining detailed records of all procedures.

The Staff Pad is partnering with a respected hospital in Las Vegas, New Mexico and looking to hire a dedicated, skilled and patient- focused Radiologic Technologist to join the Radiology Department. In this role, you'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate results.

Responsibilities

Interpret imaging orders from physicians and healthcare providers Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment to ensure diagnostic accuracy Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures Ensure patient safety and comfort while explaining procedures and addressing concerns Administer IV contrast as required to enhance imaging quality Maintain accurate imaging records and patient documentation Participate in ongoing training to stay current with CT technology, techniques, and best practices What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT certification required Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred Successful completion of background check and drug screening What You Can Expect

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and hold ARRT certification, along with BLS/CPR certification (or obtain it within 60 days of hire).
