Prepares and dispenses medication orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Assists healthcare providers in delivering patient care and ensures accurate documentation of services and supplies.
Must be registered as an Extern or Intern by the Idaho or Oregon State Board of Pharmacy. Experience in health systems or as a pharmacy technician is preferred but not required.

Prepares and dispenses medication orders per physicians’ request under the direction of a licensed pharmacist. Assists pharmacists and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care and services that are within the state scope of practice for pharmacy interns. Revenue management: ensures the accuracy of documenting services and supplies provided to the patients. Assists the pharmacist with ensuring safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Contributes to the quality and effective operation of the department. Intervenes and communicates effectively with the medical staff and other health professionals. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills. Adaptable to institutional roles and schedules. Ability to create and foster a cooperative teamwork environment.
