The physician will deliver advanced wound and hyperbaric management services across various healthcare facilities to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic procedures, prescribing therapies, and supervising mid-level practitioners.
Candidates must hold a current, unrestricted state Physician license and be Board certified. One year of wound care experience is preferred along with knowledge of chronic health conditions.
As part of the WoundCentrics team, you will play a vital role in transforming patient care across hospital-based outpatient departments, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term acute care hospitals. You will be entrusted with delivering advanced wound management services that directly improve patient outcomes and quality of life. This includes conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prescribing medications and therapies, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of wound care services. Responsibilities · Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures · Ordering and schedule necessary studies and professional consultations · Providing direct patient care services · Evaluates wound care and hyperbaric care issues · Takes part in facility orientation and training · Works closely with leadership · Reviews hyperbaric and wound care patient records · Reviews research protocols for IRB-standards compliance · Reaches out to area medical community to identify new facilities for company to service · Supervise mid-level practitioners Qualifications Qualifications · Current, unrestricted state Physician license · Board certified · Wound Care experience — 1 year preferred · Knowledgeable of care of common chronic health conditions as well as health promotion and prevention guidelines · Detail oriented, dependable and reliable
