The technician provides direct inpatient and outpatient care through phlebotomy, ECG testing, and patient transportation. Responsibilities include accurate specimen labeling, adhering to safety standards, and managing equipment and supplies.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with one year of experience in phlebotomy or cardiovascular care. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
The Phlebotomy /EKG Technician provides direct and indirect inpatient and outpatient care services including phlebotomy, ECG testing and transportation of patients.
Education/Training High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience 1-year Cardiovascular or Phlebotomy Preferences: EEG experience preferred Certificates/Licenses/Registration Certificates/Licenses/Registration
Post-Employment: BLS, provided by the American Heart Association (AHA), required within 30 days of hire.
