The technician provides direct inpatient and outpatient care through phlebotomy and ECG testing. Responsibilities include specimen collection, patient identification, and transporting patients to service areas.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with one year of experience in cardiovascular or phlebotomy. Phlebotomy and EKG competency must be achieved within 60 days of hire.
The Phlebotomist/EKG Technician provides direct and indirect inpatient and outpatient care services including phlebotomy, ECG testing and transportation of patients.
Post-Employment: Phlebotomy and EKG competency required within 60 days of hire. Experience Requirements 1-year Cardiovascular or Phlebotomy Preferences: EEG experience preferred
