Mental Health Technician III - Middleton Group Home This position will be located at Middleton Group Home in Dothan, Alabama 12 HOUR PITMAN SCHEDULE 7AM - 7PM WEEK I: MONDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY WEEK II: TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY Base Pay: $14.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
• Teaching group and individual basic living skills
• Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
• Ensure efficient operation of the facility
• Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
• Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED
• Must meet insurance eligibility requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years of age) ,good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check\
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
• Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
