The CT Technologist is responsible for preparing patients, administering contrast media, and producing high-quality computerized tomography scans. They must also ensure patient safety, maintain radiation protection protocols, and manage patient scheduling and inquiries.
Candidates must have completed an ARRT-approved Radiologic or Nuclear Technology program and hold current registration with ARRT, CAMRT, or NMTCB. ARRT(CT) certification is required or must be obtained within one year of hire, along with current CPR certification.
