The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and managing patient data within the EMR system. They also handle clinical tasks such as assisting with procedures, maintaining surgical instruments, and managing exam room supplies.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, and at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic is preferred. CPR certification is also preferred for this role.
